Chronology of cameras Aiptek

Aiptek (Affordable Innovative Personal Technologies) is a Taiwanese brand known for its low-end electronic devices. In recent years, the company has focused on manufacturing mini projectors.

This small digital camera does not bear any markings, except for a label with the serial number BDV20001550 and the words "Patent pending Made in China." This phrase allows for searching for a patent that corresponds more or less to this camera or an element of it.

The patent was filed by Aiptek International Inc, Taiwan. It was filed in the USA (USD458620) in 2001 and published in 2002. The camera can be recognized perfectly in the patent. Its inventors are Jone Su, Chin-SHu Wu of ChuPei, Taiwan. The patent covers the overall design of the camera.

The camera is powered by two LR03 batteries, with two more batteries powering the electronic flash. A small lever on the top of the camera opens the back cover containing the batteries. A view counter indicates 22 possible shots in HR mode and 107 in LR mode. It does not have a memory card, and its internal memory is 8 MB. It has a mini USB Type B port.

The small lever on the front of the camera is only present for decorative purposes and does not function as a timer.
